How it works

Three steps to the saddle

1

Book an intro lesson

Pick a time online and pay $150 to hold it. You'll get a text with the address and what to wear.

2

Groom, saddle up, ride

Your instructor matches you with a horse, walks you through grooming and tacking, and gets you riding at your pace.

3

Choose your plan

After the lesson we go over weekly options in person. No pressure, and no decisions before you've ridden.

Good to know

The questions everyone asks

How old do kids need to be?

We start at 3. The littlest riders start on a lead line with an instructor right beside them.

Do I need any experience?

No. The intro lesson is built for first-timers, and we start from the ground up.

What should we wear?

Long pants and closed-toe shoes. Helmets are provided. Many riders buy their own helmet later, never before the first lesson.

Can adults start too?

Yes, and many do. About half of our members are teens and adults building real classical riding skills.

What happens after the intro?

If you loved it, we talk through weekly memberships in person. Plans start at one lesson a week.

Where exactly are you?

41249 22nd St W, Palmdale, and Hansen Dam Horse Park, 11127 Orcas Ave, Lake View Terrace. Free parking at both.
