We're opening 5 spots in our private Horse Exploration Club — for riders who want more than arena circles.
Fast-paced trail rides. Long distances. Real terrain.
The kind of riding most people never get access to.
Mountains. Coastlines. Desert. Rivers.
All within 2 hours of our barn in Palmdale.
This is what riding is supposed to feel like.
Same horses. Same riders.
You don't start over every time — you build on it.
Most riders never experience this.
You won't be riding with random people every time. This is a consistent group.
Membership: $797/month · 12-month commitment
No long-term commitment required to book a tryout.
This is a small group of experienced riders who want more than arena circles and occasional rides.
You'll be riding my personal horses — the same ones I train, ride, and take out on long-distance trails.
These are not lesson horses.
Not rental horses.
They are conditioned, responsive, and proven in real environments — the kind of horses most riders never get access to.
I put a lot into these horses — their training, their fitness, and where they go.
In return, I expect riders who are willing to show up, put in the work, and commit.
This club is how I share that experience with a small group of riders who can truly appreciate it.
“If you've ever wished you had a consistent group to ride real trails with — this is it.”
The Horses
These horses don't just go in circles. They go places.
Conditioned for long-distance riding — not arena work
Proven in endurance competitions and multi-day trail rides
Comfortable at speed in open terrain
Exposed to traffic, wildlife, and real-world conditions
Ridden by the same small group — they know their riders
"Most riding schools have horses that are trained to be slow and safe. Ours are trained to be responsive and capable. That's a different animal entirely."
These horses have been ridden across long distances, varied terrain, and real-world conditions — not just arenas.

A Ride Day
7:00 AM
You arrive at Hussar Stables. Your horse is ready. You tack up yourself — no grooms, no hand-holding. The trailer's loaded by 7:30.

8:30 AM
Angeles Forest. The high desert. Wherever the route takes us that month. We've ridden places most people in LA don't know exist.

9:00 AM — 2:00 PM
Real distance. Varied terrain. Galloping stretches where the ground opens up. Slow technical sections where you have to think. This is what riding is supposed to feel like.

Along the way
Five riders who know each other, know the horses, and ride at the same level. No one's waiting for anyone. No one's holding back for anyone. You ride together.

The Experience
When you ride the same horse every month, you stop learning how to manage a new horse and start actually riding. You build a relationship. The horse learns your cues. You learn its quirks. That's when real progress happens.
Five riders at the same level push each other without saying a word. You see someone ride a technical section cleanly and you want to match it. You see someone gallop with confidence and you stop second-guessing yourself.
After six months, you've ridden the same trails in different seasons. You've seen the horses in different moods. You've solved problems together. That's not a membership — that's a riding community.
Once you experience riding like this, nothing else feels the same.
The Group
This isn't a rotating group of strangers.
It's the same small group of riders — every ride, every month.
You get to know the horses.
You get to know each other.
And every ride gets better because of it.
Over time, the group moves as one — faster, smoother, and more in sync.
That's when riding becomes something else entirely.
For most riders, this becomes the one thing they don't miss each month.
This isn't something you do once in a while.
It becomes part of how you ride — and who you ride with.
Structure
Simple structure. Serious commitment.
Start with a 90-minute tryout.
You'll tack up, work on the ground, and ride — so we can make sure you're a good fit for the horses and the group.
If it's a good fit, you'll be invited to join.
Membership is $797/month with a 12-month commitment.
This is not a casual riding program.
You'll come in for 4 focused riding sessions each month.
These are not optional — this is where you learn your horse and build the foundation for everything else.
If you're driving from far, you can stack them into one or two longer days.
Once a month, we go out for a real ride.
Long distance. Open terrain. Fast-paced.
This is where everything comes together — and it's the reason for everything else.
Most rides happen on weekdays to avoid crowded trails and keep the experience clean, open, and uninterrupted.
This is the kind of riding most people never get access to.
You can schedule your 4 lessons anytime during the month.
Stack them into one day or spread them out — whatever works best for your schedule.
The trail ride is a fixed group day.
That's the one commitment everyone shows up for.
Because it's always the same riders, the experience compounds.
Each month, you ride better, move faster, and get more in sync — with the horses and with the group.
Spots are limited to 5 riders.
If this structure makes sense to you, the next step is simple.
First Step
The first step is a 90-minute tryout session.
This is where we ride together and make sure:
you're comfortable at this level
you're a good fit for the horses
and this is the right environment for you
If it's a good fit, you can join the club.
We keep the standard high — this is how we maintain the level of the group.
During the session, you'll:
Tack up independently
Show basic groundwork
Ride at walk, trot, and canter
Demonstrate control, balance, and feel
Tryout session
This is not a trial lesson — it's a dedicated evaluation session.
Membership
Applied toward first month if you join after the tryout.
Spots are limited to 5 riders.
Once full, new riders join only when a spot opens.
Choose a slot that works for you. We'll confirm within 24 hours.
No long-term commitment required to book a tryout.
Why Lessons Come First
The lessons aren't about skill level. They're about relationship. You need to know your horse before you take it on a trail at speed with four other riders.
You learn the horse.
Every horse has a personality. A sensitivity. A way of going. Four arena sessions means you've seen it in different moods, different conditions, different asks.
The horse learns you.
Horses read riders. When you've worked together in the arena, the horse knows your cues, your seat, your energy. That trust is what makes a fast trail ride safe.
The group stays consistent.
When everyone has done the work, the trail ride flows. No one's managing a horse they don't know. No one's slowing the group down because they're figuring something out for the first time.
Fit Check
Make sure this is the right environment for you.
You're a beginner or still building basic riding confidence
You're not comfortable riding independently at all gaits
You need help mounting, handling, or managing your horse
You're not physically prepared for long, active rides
You prefer slow-paced or casual riding
You're not comfortable riding forward, responsive horses
You're looking for something relaxed or low-commitment
This group moves at a high level — every rider is expected to keep up.
You've been riding for years and want more than arena work
You're confident at all gaits and comfortable riding forward horses
You want to ride with people at your level — not below it
You're looking for real terrain, real speed, real distance
You can show up consistently and take responsibility for your riding
If you see yourself in this, the next step is booking a tryout.
No long-term commitment required to book a tryout.
Why This Exists
Most riders never get to experience what horses are actually capable of.
Not because they don't want to — but because doing it on your own is incredibly difficult.
You would need a well-trained, conditioned horse capable of long-distance riding. Consistent professional training. A truck and trailer. Access to the right trails. And the time to put it all together.
And even then, most riders end up riding circles in an arena.
We built this club to remove all of that — and focus on what actually matters: riding.
Show up. Ride. Improve. Explore.
And just as important — having the right people to ride with every time.
Investment
Not a subscription. A shared mission.
4 arena lessons per month (learn your horse)
1 group trail ride per month (put it to use)
Access to endurance-conditioned horses
Consistent group of 5 experienced riders
Ride planning, logistics, and organization handled
Horse maintenance, conditioning, and care included
When you join, we commit to maintaining these horses, organizing every ride, keeping the group consistent, and making sure every session is worth your time. We need the same from you — 12 months of showing up.
Once the group is full, we don't expand it.
New riders only join when a spot opens.
Tryout: $150 (separate from membership) · Applied toward first month if you join

Real rides. Real terrain. Real horses.

Proof

“I've been riding for 12 years and this is the first time I've felt like I was actually progressing. The horses are different. The rides are different. Everything is different.”

“The trail rides are unlike anything I've done in Southern California. We go places I didn't know existed. The horses handle everything — traffic, wildlife, open terrain. They're genuinely prepared.”
James R.

“I was skeptical about the lesson requirement. Now I understand it completely. By the time we hit the trail, I know exactly how my horse moves and what it needs. That's what makes the ride fast and safe.”

Location
Most of the best riding isn't in the city.
It's outside of it — where the terrain opens up, the trails go on for miles, and the riding actually becomes what it's supposed to be.
Our barn is located in Palmdale — about an hour from Los Angeles.
From here, we have access to some of the most diverse and open riding terrain in Southern California.
You don't come here for convenience.
You come here for the experience.

Under 1 hour from LA · 30 min from Santa Clarita
If you've been riding for years and feel like something is missing — this is probably it.
A consistent group.
The right horses.
Real rides that actually go somewhere.
We're opening 5 spots. That's it.
Once full, new riders join only when a spot opens.
